MADHOUSE is presenting “New Faces” a group exhibition featuring five top emerging contemporary artists from China, Hong Kong and Japan including: Dorophy TANG, LIN Hairong, WAN Hongwei, Yamaguchi SOICHI and ZHAI Liang. The selected art-pieces are presenting in a diversified range of medium including oil painting, watercolor, installation and sculpture which is a splendid-mixed concepts, cultures and forms.

The five emerging artists were all born after the late 70s and each of them carries an unique approach through their artworks to represent their different ways of seeing, attitudes and reflections against the modern world that we are now living in. The New Faces will enlighten the viewers with an exceptional visual experience by contributing a new perspective letting us to re-discover and realize the aesthetic pleasures found from our daily hustle-bustle city life.

Hong Kong Artists Graphicairlines release a new figure based on their very iconic ‘Fat Face’ character and as part of a series titled Alter Boy “Madboy in the Wonderland”.

Mad boy is an local Hong Kong student, a bit nerdy and geeky. (As you may tell by his cute glasses)
Due to eduction system changes and Chinese suppression, he has gone from top notch student to mad cow. He got draw into his imaginary world of “Wonderland”, where he can escape reality, as well as exploring and the new world with his “Mad dog Iggy”.

Alter Boy Version 003 MAD BOY，在預視圖中看到生產量有限的MAD BOY戴著瘋狂感覺的眼鏡以及G.A.L紀念成員之一 ﹣Iggy的造形帽子，充滿可愛並瘋狂的感覺。

而特意把作品展覽會選址於搬到新位置的本地當代藝術畫廊MADHOUSE舉辦，貫徹統一的格調。
